A few reminders as we head into our show week . . .

Recital Tickets

Tickets are on sale now and sold online only.  At this time, there is no sales limit in place.  Please be certain of what show your child is in and take the time to ensure you are purchasing for the correct performance.  If you are unsure of what show your child is in, go to the online bulletin board:

The link to access the tickets sales site is:

It can also be accessed by going to our website and clicking “Recital Tickets”.  Be sure to print your tickets and bring the printed copy to the show.

Recital Videos & Posters

Orders for the recital video (available on DVD or USB) can be ordered anytime during the month of May.  Place your order through the front desk, at the merchandise table at the theatre, or through your online account.  When you login to your account, you will see an online store section.  Click Search On-line store and click Recital Merchandise.  Pick what you would like and follow the prompts.  If your child is in two shows, you can enter the promo code bothshows2018 at checkout and receive 50% off the second DVD/USB.

If you want to order a copy of the cast poster (featuring the characters and ensemble), you can also order these through your online account, in person at the studio or at the merchandise table at the theatre.

Studio Closure

Today (Friday May 18) is the last day of classes.  The studio will be closed Saturday May 19 – Monday May 21 for the Victoria Day Weekend.  We will have limited office hours (3:00-6:00pm) on Tuesday May 22.  From Wednesday May 23-Saturday May 26, we will be at the theatre.  There will be no staff at the studio, we will not have access to the studio voicemail and we will have very limited email access as we will be focused on running the show.  The studio will be closed from Sunday May 27 – Tuesday May 29, then our summer office hours will commence as of Wednesday May 30.

Lunch at the Theatre

For dancers and families who are in both Saturday shows and would like lunch at the theatre, we have organized Subway catering.  If you need lunch and haven’t ordered,  call or stop by the studio TODAY (Fri May 18) by 8pm.

Parking at the Theatre and Events at the CNE Grounds

We have made arrangements with the Exhibition parking for our families.  When you arrive to park, specify you are there for the IR Dance Recital at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre to receive the special pricing.  Parking will be $12 after 5pm on the rehearsal nights and $15 on Friday and Saturday for the performances.  (There are events on the Ex grounds that weekend and it will otherwise be event pricing.)

Please note that there is a TFC game scheduled for the Friday night.  For security reasons, the Police will shut down all but one road on the Ex grounds for one hour before and after game time.  The game is scheduled for 8pm so it should not effect our arrivals and we should be finished before the game so we should be able to get out before the game rush.  We, the theatre staff and the Exhibition staff do not control the roadways, so should problems arise, please be patient and understand that the police are taking these steps to ensure safety, especially in lieu of recent events in our city.

Early Bird Discount Expires Today!

Today, Friday May 18, is the last day to receive the Early Bird Discount for 2018-2019 classes.  The $25 registration fee has been automatically waived up until and including today.

Theatre Call Times

All show assignments and call times were previously sent home.  Please refer to the online bulletin board for scheduling:

Last Minute Questions

If you have questions, please refer to the online bulletin board:

There will not be staff at the studio to reply to emails or phone calls once we go to the theatre.  The tech rehearsals and performances are busy days, so we may not be able to help with minor issues that arise the day of.
