Recital Tickets on Sale Thurs Apr 26 1pm

Tickets for this year’s Recital “Two Worlds” will go on sale Thursday April 26 at 1:00pm.  Tickets will be sold online only.  While our staff at the studio will be in when tickets go on sale, we can not process the ticket sales for you.  Tickets will range from $26.00-$30.00 per person (depending on seat location in the theatre) and $18.00 per child ages 10 & under (this is the total cost of the ticket INCLUDING service fee and taxes).  To ensure that every family gets tickets, they are limited to 7 per family until May 6.  This limit is per show that your child performs in (ie. if they are in 2 performances, you can purchase up to 7 for each of those performances).  After this date, we can not guarantee that tickets will be available, so be sure to purchase your tickets during the first week of sale!  As of May 7, you may purchase more tickets if available.

 

Priority Ticket Sales for Volunteers will go on sale Monday April 23 at 1:00pm.  To receive priority ticket sales access, you must volunteer backstage during one of the performances.  Sign up by April 17.  A few days before tickets go on sale, volunteers will be emailed an access code.  As with the regular ticket sales, tickets are limited to 7 per family until May 6.  This limit is per show that your child performs in (ie. if they are in 2 performances, you can purchase up to 7 for each of those performances).

 

Note for Company and Pre-Company Dancers and Families:  We ask that you do NOT purchase tickets for the Pink (Sat afternoon) show, unless your child is a character.  This is to ensure that families who have children only performing in the Pink Show will be able to purchase tickets.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Please be certain of what show your child is in and take the time to ensure you are purchasing for the correct performance.  If you are unsure of what show your child is in, go to the online bulletin board: www.irdance.ca/news

 

Our venue is the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (located on the CNE grounds).  Seating is reserved and selected upon purchase of your tickets.  The theatre has excellent sight lines from all areas of the venue.  With our ticket limit in place, everyone is guaranteed tickets, so please do not panic!  (We are not Tragically Hip-concert level and will not sell out the second tickets go on sale.)   We know you want to see your child on stage – and you will.   We thank you in advance for your patience.

 

One week before tickets go on sale, we will email the link to access the tickets sales site.  The link will also be able to be accessed by going to our website and clicking “Buy Tickets”.  Before purchasing a ticket, you will need to create an account.  Similar to online shopping, please follow the site’s prompts to create your account and purchase the tickets.  If you like, you can create your online account ahead of time to save some time on the day of sales.  For families who have been with us in the past, please note that we are using the same ticket company as last year, so you may already have an account set up.  Ticket sales went very smoothly last year and we anticipate it being this same this season!
